摘要: Abstract A process of continuous degradation plant communities, due mainly to long-term overgrazing has been revealed by most ecological studies in North African arid climate. Notably, this appeared across the depletion perennial grass species exhibiting low density majority range ecosystems. This study aimed examine phenology and aboveground phytomass production Stipagrostis ciliata (Desf.) De Winter accessions, a grass, growing under same environment but coming from different climates Tunisia. Additionally, extent genetic variation phenological parameters, root shoot productivity correlations among these parameters were also analyzed. Significant differences all morphological S. accessions ANOVA test corroborated with significant positive correlation indicated Pearson’s analysis. Plant diameter, biovolume, biomass protective sleeve spike number exhibited high distinctiveness between accessions. Tukey’s HDS tests presence three groups Principal component analysis (PCA) applied on table eight observations 13 variables, dispersion first two axes PCA confirmed Trait variability field for five is more likely be result phenotypic plasticity rather than differentiation Overall, characterization terms productivity.
