Enhanced electrocaloric effect in glass-added 0.94Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-0.06BaTiO3 ceramics

摘要: In the present study, 3BaO-3TiO2-B2O3 (BTBO) glass-added 0.94Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-0.06BaTiO3 (BNT-BT) ferroelectric ceramics were synthesized using a conventional solid-state reaction methodology. The electrocaloric effect on was calculated Maxwell relations. maximum adiabatic temperature changes of 0.21, 0.25, and 0.14 K obtained at 40 kV/cm for 2, 4, 6% glass addition which are significantly higher than those pure sample (0.08 K) under study. results reveal that up to 4% resulted in enhanced response. Further, dielectric properties investigated. constant decreases with compared BNT-BT 303 K.
