摘要: Introduction: Whilst most of the attention has been devoted to left ventricle in cardiovascular disease, right ventricle somewhat neglected. In last decades, there a renewal of interest in ventricle, part driven by advances in cardiovascular imaging. Methods: Cardiovascular magnetic resonance is arguably best imaging modality for study ventricle. In this research thesis, resonance was used as primary tool assess different conditions and settings. Results: This thesis encompasses five studies that have published as peer - reviewed articles. The results these were following: 1)Right ventricular dilatation dysfunction was found group patients with Marfan syndrome, further supporting existence related cardiomyopathy; 2) In thalassaemia major, volumes ejection fraction differed from healthy controls, new reference ranges based on without iron overload derived; 3) Myocardial loading major was associated progressive dysfunction; 4) Right ventricular dysfunction due myocardial siderosis reversible effective chelation therapy, and; 5) advanced heart failure, right function predictor response and outcomes undergoing cardiac resynchronization therapy. Conclusion: The an essential component circulatory system, should be more widely evaluated patients with cardiopulmonary disease.
