摘要: The scalar bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) due to a perfectly conducting surface with roughness and autocorrelation width comparable the illumination wavelength is derived from coherence theory on assumption of random reflective phase screen an expansion valid for large effective roughness. A general quadratic two-dimensional isotropic near origin yields representative Cauchy Gaussian BRDF solutions intermediate solution as sum incoherent component nonspecular coherent proportional integral plasma dispersion in complex plane. Plots illustrate agreement original bistatic data machined aluminum surface, comparisons are drawn previously published examination variations incident angle, roughness, wavelength, coefficients monostatic geometries. provides that smoothly interpolates between well-known results linear parabolic approximations.
