摘要: ABSTRACT Afield study utilizing simulated rainfall and bare plots 5.5 m wide by 22 long was conducted to the effectiveness of vegetated filter strips 4.6 9.2 in removing nutrients sediments from agricultural runoff. Losses N P with filters were highly variable as compared losses no filters. Generally, nutrient removals appeared be greater longer filters, but decreased number runoff events increased. Mass TSS, TN TP surface reduced 66%, 0% 27%, respectively, (15 ft) reducfions (30 lengths utilized this effective sediment should not relied upon primary means reduce areas.
