Cyclin D1 expression in non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. Detection by immunohistochemistry.

摘要: Cyclin D1/PRAD1 (bcl-1) is a recently discovered proto-oncogene that overexpressed in mantle cell lymphomas and several other human tumors. In previous study, the authors demonstrated expression of cyclin D1 15 cases lymphoma 1 8 B-chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) using polyclonal antibody microwave enhanced immunohistochemical staining method on paraffin-embedded tissue sections. this 107 additional B- T-cell neoplasms were studied, including 47 high grade (33 diffuse large B-cell type, 9 Burkitt Burkitt-like, 4 precursor T-lymphoblastic lymphoma, adult lymphoma/leukemia), 38 low (18 CLL, hairy 5 lymphoma), 22 plasmacytomas for same technique. All showed nuclear staining. No CLL expression. contrast, leukemias None protein by immunostaining, three coexpressed CD5. The conclude expressed all only very rare B-CLL, plasmacytoma/myeloma. does not appear to play an important role lymphomas. addition, most CD5 positive do express D1, are likely be derived from or with t(11;14).
