摘要: [1] The theory of plasma transport in Earth's sheet depends critically on the entropy parameter PV5/3, where P is particle pressure and V volume a closed flux tube containing one unit magnetic flux. Theory suggests that earthward moving flow bursts inject into inner magnetosphere consist tubes have PV5/3 values are lower than those neighboring slow-moving tubes. However, there no way to measure from spacecraft or small number spacecraft. We propose formula for estimating local single based simple two-dimensional analytic model force equilibrium, with some parameters set measurements at other fit series equilibrated Tsyganenko models. To gain an idea expected error, resulting then tested against various relaxed models, equilibrium field/plasma depleted channel also thin-filament MHD calculation. The used estimate injected two substorms, using near X = −10 RE central sheet.
