摘要: With the signing of General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade establishment World Organisation, trading environment for animal products has changed. Disease control measures can no longer be applied as trade barriers unless supported by scientific epidemiological data. In this context, it become necessary, if not obligatory, to gain accurate up-to-date knowledge about status important infectious diseases. The role veterinary epidemiosurveillance networks is therefore gaining importance. Furthermore, contributes protection populations from exotic or emerging diseases, well development evaluation disease programmes. Despite large diversity surveillance networks, authors propose a method network classification. criteria classification are follows: type being monitored (i.e., versus endemic diseases). number diseases concerned focused broad-based networks). area covered local, national international population whether targeted at suspect susceptible animals). sampling strategy sample-based exhaustive collecting data passive collection active collection). management autonomous that which integrated with other programmes). This discussed illustrated examples published in literature. It may aid future grid networks.
