摘要: Abstract : Condition monitoring methods for rolling element bearings, which utilize the high frequency vibrations generated by bearing damage, have been investigated and compared experimentally. Kurtosis values, spectra of vibration signal envelopes pulse measurement provided effective detection early but kurtosis in particular was not evaluating extensive where a combination is required. Comparison different accelerometer types used as sensors gave very similar results, an acoustic emission transducer indications incipient damage significantly earlier than accelerometers. Test were conducted under reasonably favourable conditions so further testing less proposed, effect such briefly considered.
