摘要: The purpose of this chapter is to discuss the efficacy adjuvant radiotherapy (RT) in treatment melanoma. risk local-regional recurrence after surgery alone for locally advanced melanoma relatively high. usually related metastatic regional nodes and, occasionally, unfavorable findings at primary site, such as in-transit metastases. likelihood a positive sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) exceeds 20 % melanomas >2 mm thick and or more patients with SLNB will have residual on completion dissection. Patients approximately higher relapse alone, particularly if multiple are involved and/or extracapsular extension present. Postoperative RT results control rates 85–90 high-risk modest complications. impact survival likely minimal.
