摘要: The application of a pulsing flow to fluidized-bed bioreactors in order control pellet morphology filamentous fungi was investigated. operation at an optimum pulsation frequency allowed two effects: narrower size distribution which improves fluidization quality, and enhanced production citric acid by Aspergillus niger manganese peroxidase Phanerochaete chrysosporium. In the case A. niger, diameter corresponding pulsed system operated 0.35 s−1 kept between 3.3 ± 0.1 mm after 22 days operation; however, nonpulsed bioreactor operative for only 11 days, pellets with 6.7 0.3 were produced. Similar results obtained P. chrysosporium, since 0.0625 s−1, 2.1 0.4 34 maintained. On contrary, without presented great conglomerates mycelia average 3 cm surrounded free 2.75 0.5 mm. 14 days. Both attained higher values maintained longer bioreactor.
