摘要: The factors that induce Foxp3 expression and regulatory T (Treg) cell development remain unknown. In this study, we investigated the role of STAT4 STAT6 in agonist-driven generation Ag-specific Foxp3-expressing Treg cells. Our findings indicate fully efficient induction cells requires synergistic action two signals: a TCR-mediated signal second mediated by STAT6. Indeed, comparing wild-type STAT4- STAT6-deficient hemagglutinin-specific presence hemagglutinin Ag, found absence impaired CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ Moreover, transgenic mice expressing constitutively active form STAT6, fraction CD4+Foxp3+ exceeds control littermates. Overall these support for pathway maintenance.
