摘要: We use a simple parameterization of the mid-IR spectra wide range galaxy types in order to predict their distribution Infrared Array Camera (IRAC) 3.6, 4.5, 5.8, and 8.0 μm Multiband Photometer for Spitzer 24 color-color diagrams. distinguish three basic spectral by energetically dominant component 3-12 regime: stellar-dominated, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH)-dominated, continuum-dominated. Markov chain Monte Carlo approach arrive at more systematic robust representation galaxies than do traditional approaches. find that IRAC plots are well suited distinguishing above types, while addition data allows us suggest practical three-color cuts preferentially select higher redshift sources specific type. compare our simulations with plot obtained First Look Survey reasonable agreement. Lastly, we discuss other applications as future directions this work.
