Automatic threading tape drive

摘要: An electro-pneumatic automatic tape threading apparatus in combination with a handling machine is disclosed. sensing means senses the position of tip-of-tape relative to guide and when properly positioned, propelled, assisted by air jets, through guide, past magnetic head, onto rotating take-up reel provided vacuum holding for attracting tape. Tape provide control signals successfully threads picked up which informs system reverse reel, apply brake, into loop chambers drawing slack left right respectively.
