摘要: The effects of exogenous dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE) and epinephrine (E) on endogenous catecholamine (CA) titers glycemia were studied with a highly specific sensitive radioenzymatic assay (REA) in cardiac-cannulated, prespawning sea lampreys. Neither DA nor NE had effect the other two CAs, or glycemia. In contrast, E caused strong increase both at three different doses, one which must have been physiological ranges. This may be due to direct stimulation cells. also hyperglycemia 45 min after injection; however, this occurred only unphysiologically high doses. An estimation disappearance rate CAs revealed mammalian-like speed, ranging from 3–5.5 min.
