摘要: Companies with established and reliable control systems are often confronted the question of how to benefit from upcoming innovations in science practice without removing or extensively changing their systems. One currently discussed is new standard OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA). UA provides an improved data transport a semantically rich information model aim improve operators supervisory tasks. promising candidate provide next generation platform for system development that better meets today's technological business requirements. However, during our research activities over last three years two projects industry partners, we encountered difficulties introducing concepts into existing as many proposed integration solutions either replace technology-driven which unable reveal innovational strength engineers. wishing adjust towards state art also wish protect investments tools, sources employees' training. In this paper approach user-centered design view. We first derive requirements on operators' engineers' work situation. Subsequently show properties can cope these standardized way. Finally present observations challenges faced by companies when technologies propose evolutionary strategy combine tools models concepts.
