摘要: The anticipated deployment cost of 5G communication networks in the UK is predicted to be between {\pounds}30bn- {\pounds}50bn, whereas current annual capital expenditure mobile network operators (MNOs) {\pounds}2.5bn. This prospect has vastly impacted and become one major delaying factors for building physical infrastructure, other areas developments are progressing at their speed. In this paper, an extensive study conducted explore possibilities reducing developing business models. suggests that use existing public infrastructure a great potential contribute reduction about 40% 60% cost. Also, recent Ofcom initiative location-based licensing radio spectrum reviewed. Our simplification will encourage exponential growth scenario-specific cellular potentially disrupt models telecommunication stakeholders -- specifically MNOs TowerCos. Moreover, dense connectivity data harvesting as opportunity function within small medium-sized enterprises well large social networks. Consequently, rise new infrastructures anticipated. fuel development exchange ecosystem where transactions deemed high-value commodities. economy-oriented model proposed. found with commodification along low-cost spectrum, introduce significant disruption Telco ecosystem.
