Superconductors in Alternating Magnetic Fields

摘要: A method of studying magnetic properties in alternating fields and its application to the intermediate state a superconducting sphere are described. It is shown that behaviour frequencies between 10 100 different from very slowly varying fields, difference becoming less for lower smaller radius. When specimen state, energy losses produced it by field, showing induced currents out phase with field. The do not, however, flow same way as homogeneous isotropic conductor, this probably on account an anisotropic structure when state. This depends strongly amplitude field such effective average conductivity increased decreasing amplitude, effect size specimen. Evidence given time lag magnetocaloric effect, decreases decrease specimen, being order sec. about 1 cm. diameter.
