摘要: This research describes detailed stages of oogenesis and spermatogenesis at histological level in the white shrimp western Pacific, Litopenaeus vannamei. Both processes were studied cultured organisms under reproduction conditions laboratory. Oogenesis was histologically analyzed from proliferation 9 μm oogonia their growth into primary oocytes passing through different phases previtellogenesis: synapsis, chromatin nucleolus, early perinucleolus late 84-94 μm. Primary vitellogenesis observed 71-112 μm, containing acidophilic globules surrounded by a layer thick follicle cells (12-35 μm). Secondary is evident 165-202 with numerous granules cytoplasm thin cells; then cortical crypts appear, indicating stage prematuration preparation for ovulation. Spermatogenesis characterized light microscopy spermatogonia gradual maturation secondary spermatocytes, early, mid advanced spermatids sperm. The process synchronous regions seminiferous tubules, asynchronous neighboring generating up to testicles. Advanced spermatozoa only vasa deferentia; this finding appears not be universal Penaeidae.
