摘要: Purpose To compare the intraocular fluid leakage rate between 25-gauge (25G) transconjunctival vitrectomy with scleral tunnels and standard 25G vitrectomy. Design Single-center, retrospective, interventional case series. Methods Transconjunctival vitrectomies were conducted by use of only instruments peripheral Standard was in 542 eyes 337 eyes. The tunnel created inserting trocars at an oblique angle. Results significantly lower (Fisher exact probability test: P = .0258) air exchange ( .0007). Conclusion reduces frequency wound even when vitreous is removed.
