摘要: Since N assimilation is one of the most costly functions a plant, its efflux before results in serious energy cost and loss efficiency which could decrease yields. Efficient crop production critical to Controlled Ecological Life-Support System (CELSS). The objective determine extent species NO3(-), NH4(+), NO2(-), urea after uptake, possible means regulation. It was found that NO3(-) became as substrate level increased. Efflux/Influx (E/I) 3NO3(-) greater darkness (35 pct) than light (14 ratio greatly increased with (up 45 pct at 10 mM). seems advantageous use lowest nutrient concentration NO3(-). feasibility using ClO3(-) trapping agent (competitive inhibitor uptake) for effluxed assessed toxicity determined.
