摘要: Stocking represents the most important management tool worldwide to increase and sustain commercial recreational fisheries in a context of overexploitation. Genetic impacts this practice have been investigated many studies, which examined population individual admixture, but few determinants these processes. Here, we addressed questions from genotyping at 19 microsatellite loci 3341 adult lake trout (Salvelinus namaycush) 72 unstocked stocked lakes. Results showed an genetic diversity twofold decrease extent differentiation among populations when compared unstocked. Stocked were characterized by significant admixture both levels. Moreover, levels strongly correlated with stocking intensity threshold value total homogenization between source was identified. Our results also suggest that under certain scenarios, could be short duration. Overall, our study emphasizes alteration integrity need better understand optimize strategies conserve wild populations.
