摘要: This paper describes the prediction of disruptions based on diagnostic data in high-β spherical torus NSTX [M. Ono, et al., Nuclear Fusion 40 , 557 (2000)]. The disruptive threshold values many signals are examined. In some cases, raw can be used as a signal for disruption prediction. others, deviations plasma from simple models provides to determine proximity disruption. However, no single and value form basis NSTX; thresholds that produce an acceptable false positive rate have too large missed or late warning rate, while combinations warnings unacceptable rate. To solve this problem, novel means combining multiple tests has been developed. After being properly tuned, algorithm 2.8%, with 3.7% when applied database ~2000 collected three run campaigns. Furthermore, these positives triggered by near-disruptive MHD events might indeed larger plasmas more stored energy. ismore » less efficient at detecting event prompts process.« less
