摘要: The non-linearity of a conditional photon-counting measurement can be used to `de-Gaussify' Gaussian state light. Here we present and experimentally demonstrate technique for photon number resolution using only homodyne detection. We then apply this inform measurement; unambiguously reconstructing the statistics non-Gaussian one two subtracted squeezed vacuum states. Although our relies on ensemble averages cannot prepare states light, its high efficiency, resolving capabilities, compatibility with telecommunications band make it suitable quantum information tasks relying outcomes mean values.
