摘要: OBJECTIVE Recently, there has been an increasing interest in conservation of native genetic resources chicken on a worldwide basis. Most the breeds are threatened by extinction or crossing with ecotypes. METHODS Six Saudi including black naked neck, brown frizzled, black, barred, and gray were used current study. The aim study was to evaluate diversity, relationship population structure based 20 microsatellite markers. RESULTS A total 172 alleles detected across all loci. mean number per breed ranged from 4.35 5.45 normally feathered average 8.6 alleles. All characterized high degree lowest heterozygosity found (72%) greatest frizzled barred populations (78%). Higher estimate expected (0.68) both (normal neck) compared other populations. studied showed no inbreeding within (negative coefficient [FIS]). phylogenetic relationships chickens examined using neighbor-joining trees constructed at level individual samples. tree revealed three main clusters, neck one cluster, second cluster leaving separate one. CONCLUSION It could be concluded that information derived can as guide for improvement further breeding programs. Our findings indicate have rich diversity show polymorphism.
