摘要: Abstract This article reflects on the consequences of contemporary shifts in relationships between water utilities, their competitors and domestic end users. Such changing relations come along with development new more sustainable products services. By distinguishing ‘upstream’ vs. ‘downstream’ ‘core’ ‘non-core’ innovations supply, a conceptual tool was developed applied to analyse Dutch supply sector both from provider consumer perspective. To assess role (eco)innovations sector, paper reviews current trends consumption; consumers’ perception services innovation strategies companies. Based focus group discussions professionals consumers, roles for companies were identified. It shown that there are fits as well misfits ways which providers consumers tend look at future supply. Knowing about relating preference practices can be instrumental when developing products, services, images roles.
