摘要: A method for automatically generating a point-reduced backtrack route is provided, using the aid of Global Positioning System technology. The begins by recording potentially very large series data points GPS technology and user-selected point algorithm into forward-track route. point-reducing then used to reduce forward track which preserves topological essence original route, but with far fewer points. This reduced suitable storage in memory constrained device, navigation without need set Storage number such routes thus made available end user.
