摘要: We present the results of a theoretical numerical analysis novel fiber optic refractometric transducer. It consists hemispherical glass detection element and pair multimode optical fibers attached symmetrically to element's flat equatorial plane. The internal reflection light from spherical surface is sensitive refractive index surrounding medium. exploit several reflections in series focusing beam by achieve enhanced sensitivity medium reduced intrinsic loss data on effect transducer's parameters its transmission function. show that transducer can operate relatively wide range (we this for interval n = 1.0 1.45). also experimental confirming our results.
