摘要: Liver fibrosis is the result of an exacerbated wound-healing response associated with chronic liver injury. Advanced results in cirrhosis, failure, and portal hypertension frequently requires transplantation. The host immune has important role driving deposition by activating hepatic stellate cells (HSCs). Interleukin-22 (IL-22) a cytokine that plays key promoting antimicrobial immunity tissue repair at barrier surfaces. Data from literature suggest IL-22 protective reducing some pathological conditions, however are contradictory. This review highlights current knowledge IL-22' injury, as well its therapeutic potential for treatment
