摘要: Palm-press fibres were inoculated with fungal mycelium of ten different isolates white rotfungi namely: Pleurotus sajor-caju I, II and III; Pleurotus florida; Lentinula edodes II, III, IV Vand Ganoderma lucidum. The incubated for a period ofup to three months. Of the fungi tested, Pleurotus sajor-caju III P. florida found be best lignin degraders, decreasing content by as much as 35 %. This corresponded an increase 21 % in digestibility fibres. Lignin showed largest proportionate loss during growth these fungi; cellulose hemicellulose lowest loss incubation of up two Degradation seemed take place later than cellulose. Some isolates ofL. preferably attacked component while leaving untouched; its rate degradation however, was slower spp. G. lucidum poor degrader under the present conditions preferred utilise rather growth.
