摘要: Most contemporary research accounts for conflict within cemetery space, but does not consider the potentially contested and poorly understood role of cemeteries their broader cityscape. This study draws on stories from managers across England Wales to narrate this multifunctionality, as they hold pivotal which oversees both day-to-day running cemetery, its strategic a given municipality. The outlines how multiple functions in cities are located, specifically contributing greenspace or green infrastructure, civic identity local place attachment. These varying city level roles turn impact what is deemed (il)legitimate behaviour cemetery. Moreover, raise important considerations urban planners policymakers who currently have little guidance planning new existing critical ongoing successful development cities.
