Recent advances in the study of motion in French: a survey

摘要: This chapter is an introduction to the book "The semantics of dynamic space in French: descriptive, experimental and formal studies on motion expression". An overview research expression French -and, more specifically, expression- carried out last twenty or thirty years first provided. The different contributions are then introduced following internal structure volume: descriptive work arguments, modifiers, asymmetry motion, manner fictive motion; pyscholinguistic eye tracking gestures descriptions; computational aspects motion-based narrations. section focuses some data/results set questions that these date/results raise. discussion tries show how recent can contribute partly renew debates language cognition by reconsidering, for instance, notions path their articulation.
