摘要: Two simple and sensitive spectrophotometric techniques have been proposed for the estimation of antihistamine drugs, diphenhydramine hydrochloride (DPH), fexofenadine (FXO) cetirizine dihydrochloride (CTZ) in pure forms their pharmaceutical via charge-transfer complex formation with 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone (DDQ) 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) reagents. Spectrophotometric methods involve addition a known excess DDQ or TCNQ reagents to DPH, FXO CTZ drugs acetonitrile, followed by measurement absorbance formed CT complexes at selected wavelength. Various variables parameters affecting reactions were studied investigated. Beer’s law was obeyed concentration ranges 16–144, 12–120, 12–86 μg mL−1 6–66, 24–216 4–68 μg mL−1 using reagents, respectively, correlation coefficients not less than 0.9944. The reaction stoichiometry is found be 1:1 [drug]: [DDQ TCNQ]. For methods, molar absorptivity, detection quantification limits, sandell resistance are also calculated. According ICH guidelines, both intra-and inter-day precision reliability evaluated. estimated successfully applied medicinal determination cited drugs. finding showed no significant difference between reported depended on t test variance ratio. Popular additives did interfere.
