摘要: Temporary shear loss characteristics of multigraded engine oils were measured in a newly developed oil pump rig. Correlations the results with high pressure capillary viscometry data indicate that test apparatus generates rates range 2--3 X 10 to 5th power s minus one power. One advantage this technique over similar mechanical approaches is rig causes virtually no permanent degradation. Test are reported for variety polymer types, and relationship temporary losses discussed. /GMRL/
