摘要: Manihot esculenta Crantz is originally from the Amazon region of Brazil, which has highest genetic diversity. Due to wide adaptation cassava most diverse environments, evolutionary forces acted on crop, resulting in a more complex structure. This study evaluated population structure and diversity through 25 SSR markers 144 sweet accessions collected seven places south Brazil. All loci analyzed were polymorphic showed several alleles per with mean 3.36 38 rare population. The value polymorphism information content (PIC) was 0.488, indicates that informative observed heterozygosity 0.644, while expected 0.557. divided into 10 groups based analysis. There moderate differentiation (PhiPT = 0.106) among subpopulations. variability studied demonstrates importance emergency conservation plants germplasm banks, because intense change agriculture; expansion areas occupied by soybeans, corn, other crops; also farmers’ migration rural urban reduced cultivation over time, as consequence, been lost.
