摘要: Studies on the use of Pochonia chlamydosporia isolates as biological control agents root-knot nematodes (RKN, Meloidogyne spp.), showed that their efficacy relies selected key factors such fungal proliferation in soil, establishment in rhizosphere, and ability to parasitize RKN eggs. A pot experiment was conducted to evaluate performance a Portuguese P. isolate (Pc2) non-native (Pc10) against M. chitwoodi potato-maize-potato-potato crop rotation. The growth soil and roots monitored throughout by assessing numbers colony forming units (cfu). The prevalence eggs nematode reproduction measured at end each crop. cfu/g of varied over time particularly low for both during spring summer 2009, when temperatures above 30oC were registered. Native Pc2 more effective establishing than Pc10. Growth survival fungus did not seem depend presence or host plant species. Establishment slow only achieved after full cropping sequence. The two revealed subtle differences preference, compatibility, tolerance to abiotic conditions may affect biocontrol long-lasting management program.
