摘要: This paper presents a floating-buck dimmable LED driver for solid-state lighting applications. In the proposed driver, an adaptive timing difference compensation (ATDC) is developed to adaptively adjust off-time of low-side power switch enable achieve high accuracy average current over wide range input voltages and number output loads, fast settling time, operation frequency. The efficiency benefits from capabilities using synchronous rectifier having no sensing resistor in stage. rectification under supply voltage enabled by high-speed low-power gate with pseudo-digital level shifters. Implemented 0.35 μm 50 V CMOS process, experimental results show that can operate at 1 MHz peak 93% support series-connected LEDs 10 40 V. has only 2.8% error 345 mA settles within 8.5 μs after triggering dimming condition, improving time 14 times compared state-of-the-art drivers.
