摘要: Although researchers have traditionally distinguished between. direct (e.g., name-calling, hitting) and indirect ignoring, scapegoating) types of peer-victimization, there remains disagreement concerning how best to categorize peer-victimization. The aim the present study was delineate, using Principal Components Analysis, peer-victimization develop a multidimensional psychometric self-report scale. Respondents were 812 children aged 11 16 years attending secondary school in England. Once it established that respondents familiar with definition:of bullying, they rated often had experienced 45 different victimizing acts. Four main factors identified-physical victimization, verbal social manipulation, attacks on property-and subscales constructed possessed satisfactory internal consistency convergent validity self-reports being bullied.
