摘要: New quaternary glassy compositions Ge16Se52Te32 − xSbx (x = 0, 2, 4, 6, 8) have been synthesized using melt quench technique. We determined various physical parameters i.e. average coordination number, floppy modes, lone pair electrons, heat of atomization, density, molar volume, compactness and cohesive energy. It is observed that on increasing Sb content energy, atomization increases while volume decreases. The chemical bond approach has used to calculate the energy samples under investigation.
