HYGRA: A decentralized protocol for resource discovery and job allocation in large computational Grids

摘要: This paper presents a novel approach for resource finding and job allocation in computational Grid. The technique proposed, called HYGRA HYperspace-based Grid Resource Allocation, organises nodes peer-to-peer architecture by building an overlay network which each node is virtually connected to one or more neighbours. strongly based on spatial computing concepts: the available amount of type used as geometric coordinate virtual Euclidean hyperspace. Therefore represented point hyperspace, basis its free resources. A request also this according amounts needed execution. Thus, model, suitable execution means navigating said Node search goes from neighbour neighbour, following links trying minimize distance between current target representing job, until nearest it found. describes algorithms construction assesses their validity performances simulation.
