Topoisomerase I dissociates human immunodeficiency virus type 1 reverse transcriptase from genomic RNAs.

摘要: Both HIV-1 reverse transcriptase (RT) and topoisomerase I bind to structural RNAs they cooperate synthesize cDNA during the replication of HIV-1. In this study, we find that human exclusively dissociated transcriptase, which strongly binds RNAs. Meanwhile, did not dissociate either nucleocapsid proteins or murine leukemia virus RT was bound RNA. We propose may regulate binding play a pivotal role in replication.
