摘要: Somatic chromosomes of 12 samples belonging to seven Larnax Miers species and three Deprea Raf. are studied. Chromosome number karyotype analysis both genera reported for the first time. All taxa have 2n = 24. The most frequent haploid formula (8 samples) is 9 metacentric (m) + 3 submetacentric (sm) chromosomes, whereas L. glabra (Standl.) N.W. Sawyer sp. display 10 m + 2 sm. Karyotypes nieva S. Leiva & D. cuyacensis (N.W. Leiva) Lezama remarkable highest sm chromosome pairs, with 7 m + 5 5 m + 7 sm, respectively, presenting intrachromosomal asymmetry index (A1), show lowest A1. Most (9 12) examined only one pair nucleolar organiser regions (NOR), glabra, sp., possess two pairs NOR. Systematic considerations about monophyly provided. different parameters obtained, together morphological characters, discussed single out species.
