Preparation and characterization of reinforced poly(vinyl alcohol) films by a nanostructured, chiral, L-leucine based poly(amide-imide)/ZrO2 nanocomposite through a green method

摘要: Abstract In the present investigation, at first, surface of ZrO2 nanoparticles was modified with a bioactive and biocompatible diacid based on leucine amino acid as coupling agent. The grafting confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy thermogravimetric analysis. Then, synthesis poly(amide-imide)/ZrO2 nanocomposite (PAI/ZrO2 NC) performed through ultrasonic technique. obtained NCs demonstrated good thermal stability. Field emission scanning electron microscopy transmission analysis showed that average diameter NP around 15–20 nm. Finally, resulting NC, used nano-filler incorporated into poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) in order to improve its mechanical properties. PVA/PAI–ZrO2 NC films were characterized different techniques. data indicated properties enhanced. It attributed dispersion filler PVA matrix result hydrogen bonding.
