摘要: Although fish is widely consumed by humans for its nutritional properties, accumulation of heavy metals can pose serious health hazards. Widespread common carp Cyprinus carpio cultured worldwide and represents an economically important species fisheries in several countries. These include Turkey, where C. often makes a large part the sales locally marketed also traditional dish. This study provides review bioaccumulation tissues from water bodies Anatolia includes reference to studies. From 42 across region, 27 total were studied, which Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb Zn most analysed, mainly muscle, liver gill tissues. Amongst potentially toxic metals, Cr occurred at concentrations not only above maximum allowed limits but higher relative other worldwide, even though As, Hg Ni sometimes present hazardous concentrations. The essential Se detected various concentrations, with latter two occasionally limit. All flagged as having especially critical (i.e. limit) supported highly populated regions, raising concern about food safety calling preventative measures. Given significantly lower levels muscle tissues, it suggested that consumption fillets may be safer than after processing into e.g. meat balls sausages. 1.0 μg/g 1.15 μg/g Se, currently lacking Turkish legislation, are proposed, similar meta-analytical approach adopted this benefit countries resource.
