摘要: Background Undernutrition is one of the most common causes morbidity and mortality among adolescent girls worldwide, especially in South-East Asia Africa. Even though adolescence a window opportunity to break intergenerational cycle undernutrition, are neglected group. The objective this study was assess nutritional status associated factors Wolaita Hadiya zones Southern Ethiopia. Methods A community-based cross-sectional conducted, multistage random sampling method used select sample 843 girls. Anthropometric measurements were collected from all participants entered WHO Anthro plus software for Z-score analysis. data analyzed using EPI-data 4.4.2 SPSS version 21.0. odds ratios logistic regression along with 95% confidence interval (CI) generated. P-value < 0.05 declared as level statistical significance. Result Thinness (27.5%) stunting (8.8%) found be public health problems area. Age [AOR(adjusted ratio) (95% CI) = 2.91 (2.03–4.173)], large family size [AOR 1.63(1.105–2.396)], low monthly income 2.54(1.66–3.87)], not taking deworming tablets 1.56(1.11–21)], educational father 2.45(1.02–5.86)], source food only market 5.14(2.1–12.8)], visited by extension workers 1.72(1.7–2.4)], washing hand soap before eating after toilet 2.25(1.079–4.675)] positively poor zones, Conclusion high Age, size, household income, regularly skipping meals, fathers’ status, visits workers, nutrition services decision-making main predictors thinness. Hand practice, Multisectoral community-based, programs should implemented.
