摘要: Abstract Background Persons with exertional related leg pain are managed using orthoses. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of two orthoses in altering foot motion and muscle activity symptomatic individuals. Methods 52 subjects lower extremity complaints a non-traumatic, mechanical origin received one Foot kinematics EMG were recorded while treadmill walking 3 footwear conditions. The peak sandal orthotic trials (normalized barefoot values) during 4 subphases stance obtained. Using multivariate multilevel model via linear mixed models, effect within these phases on was determined. Results An type not present for any rearfoot or forefoot motions ( p >.10). A significant first ray =.036) present. Conclusion Orthoses unable control rear midfoot but appear late stance, affect tibialis posterior activity. Public registry number: NCRT02143947.
