摘要: Abstract The coating and granulation of solid particles in a fluidized bed is process which converts pumpable atomizable liquids (solutions, slurries, melts) into granular solids one step by means drying. solution to be processed sprayed onto bed. Particle growth can take place either via surface layering or agglomeration. In the case atomized droplets deposit thin layer liquid seed particles. solvent then evaporated hot fluidizing, leaving behind dissolved material on surface. Although spray film have been applied industry for several years, there still lack understanding physical fundamentals mechanisms spherical granules are formed. Hence new method was developed allows direct observation subsequent particle-forming such as droplet deposition, spreading, wetting authors present laboratory scale apparatus single freely suspended particle coated under well defined constant drying conditions. With this device, particle-growth-rate development morphology were measured investigated various experimental
