摘要: The continuous emerging increase in life span has led to vulnerability a number of different diseases the elderly. Some these risks may be attributed specific changes immune system referred as immunoscenescence. This term aims describe decreased functions among elderly individuals, and is characterized harmful age-associated that lead its gradual dysfunction. An impaired function susceptibility various population such infections, cardiovascular cancer. Although it unclear how this phenotype develops, evidence suggest reflect an exhaustion system, possibly caused by one or several chronic infections. main candidate human cytomegalovirus (CMV), which can induce dysfunctions observed currently considered exhausted CMV positive not known whether dysfunction reason for increased other diseases, if direct effects virus disease pathogenesis them. These aspects will discussed review.
