摘要: Publisher Summary Reflexes are stereotyped motor actions evoked by specific sensory stimuli. The clinical usefulness of reflexes is well established. important in the study movement disorders for several reasons. play a normal role adjusting movements response to changes feedback. Muscle, joint and skin afferents will each be activated quite distinct way during movement, signaling displacement individual joints, pressure on particular regions skin, or stretch certain muscles. These multisensory signals feed back system reinforce expected movement. Abnormal reflex responses characteristic many disorders. also because they can provide non-invasive means assessing central nervous exploring strength connections spinal interneurons. Simple reflexes, such as reflex, used tool assess excitability neurons patients with Spinal defined those whose circuitry lies within cord, categorized either excitatory inhibitory.
