摘要: Abstract Rickettsia felis is an obligate, intracellular, Gram-negative bacterium and a member of the transitional group rickettsiae. This has been shown to grow in vitro amphibian, tick, mosquito cell lines. Here, we present data show growth R. strain LSU Drosophila melanogaster S2 cells, embryonic, hemocytic line with phagocytic properties. was isolated from Ixodes scapularis E6 (ISE6) cells used infect grown at 25°C.
